Kawhi So Serious Challenge
In an effort to keep Kawhi Leonard in Toronto, we wanted to create a homegrown campaign that shows the city stands with him.
In an effort to keep Kawhi Leonard in Toronto, we wanted to create a homegrown campaign that shows the city stands with him. More than free food and a free place to live, we wanted to offer a charitable donation…and have some fun.
Kawhi has been active in charitable causes (see here, here and here), and vocal about his desire to be more than a basketball player. Our idea is simple: take a video of ourselves scowling and straight-faced for as long as possible, imitating the famous Kawhi scowl. We’re calling it the “Kawhi So Serious” Challenge and encouraging Toronto to join.
Film yourself doing the “Kawhi Scowl” for a full minute (or as long as you can manage) and upload it to social media with the hashtag #kawhisoserious. For every minute posted, Fuse will donate $1 to the MLSE Foundation (maximum $1000). We tried ourselves and while this proved to be difficult for some (cue the laugh tracks), others embraced trying to do the mean muggin’ look. Watch below.
