FUSE brings CIBC Client Appreciation Day Home
CIBC and Toronto-based creative agency FUSE launch The CIBC Memento Project and Banking Centre takeover to celebrate Client Appreciation Day
Toronto, ON – October 25, 2019 – Every year, CIBC celebrates their clients on Client Appreciation Day as a way of saying thanks. Past years have included coffee trucks and Aventura point giveaways. This year, today in fact, to celebrate Client Appreciation Day, CIBC worked with Toronto-based creative agency, FUSE, to help show their appreciation through the story of one of their clients.
Crystal Regehr Westergard, a CIBC client in Camrose, Alberta, is an example of how, with the right advice, a small idea can grow into something particularly special. With a supporting loan and strong business advice from CIBC, Crystal and her husband Bert, turned their kitchen-based small enterprise into a successful business, producing more than two million bars in just two years. To help her celebrate this milestone, CIBC and FUSE will transform her home branch - the CIBC Camrose Banking Centre into “Crystal’s Banking Centre,” for the day to honour her and her business. “It’s the ultimate display of the close, personal relationship CIBC has with their clients,” says Steve Miller, Executive Creative Director at FUSE. “It goes well beyond transactional, it’s a true partnership, embodied wonderfully in Crystal’s story and the renaming of the branch.”
To feel most authentic, the campaign goes beyond simply putting Crystal’s name on the sign. Today, every touchpoint, from the Welcome mat and employee nametags, to the in-branch pens, even the Google Maps address, all bear her name. The event will be shared on social media, including LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook, Instagram and YouTube. Crystal is also the first client showcased in the CIBC Memento Project, a new CIBC content series, which also launches today, and is dedicated to showcasing the successes of CIBC clients across the country.
