Since joining FUSE over three years ago, award-winning creative director Patrick Weir now assumes the title of SVP creative and innovation, under which FUSE’s overall creative product, video production, dynamic social content creation as well as digital and XM innovations remain at the forefront of his thinking. Brie Taylor now adds a VP to her title, following three years as director of client services, during which she spearheaded strong client relationships and garnered trust and respect from FUSE’s blue chip roster of clients, her team and the staff at FUSE. The agency has recently experienced a tremendous growth surge, key hires and internal promotions following its dive into data science, brand storytelling and a greater breadth in digital content, creative technology and experiential offerings.

During the past 20+ years, Mr. Weir has helped turn big ideas into successful campaigns for several impressive global brands. Past clients include CIBC, Molson-Coors, Canadian Tire, Kraft, SABMiller, Live Nation, BMW-Mini, Jack Daniel’s, Coca-Cola and MTV, to name a few. He brings creative strategy and an innovative approach to every project, whether it’s digging deep into a brand’s creative strategy or lending his expertise to content, social, broadcast and XM campaigns. Mr Weir’s love for breakthrough creative as well as new technologies has led him to speaking engagements at SXSW as well as seats on the Advisory Councils for both Seneca College & the Miami Ad School. He has appeared on the juries for the Effies, Strategy, Applied Arts, CMA, POPAI, PROMO! and Globe awards, while his work has been recognized by many shows including the NAAs, Promo Awards, POPAI, Applied Arts Interactive, Digital Marketing Shortlist and FWA.
Ms. Taylor has 14 years of experience leading the development and delivery of award-winning integrated communication strategies across all media. She believes strongly in the power of combining client and agency smarts to bring the best solution to market. She also believes in the unstoppable power of collaboration across account, creative and production. As a strong communicator and collaborator, Ms. Taylor is able to lead and inspire cross-functional teams and deliver strong business results efficiently. She has served as a senior judge for the CMA Awards, and will represent FUSE on the board for this year’s CMA Future Tense Conference.

Toronto, ON. FUSE Marketing Group is pleased to unveil a new campaign for client, Toronto Tool Library launching today. The campaign is the first large scale project of the Institute for a Resource-Based Economy (IRBE), a Canadian non-profit organization based in Toronto, and aims to bring awareness to a tool-sharing service called Toronto Tool Library. It consists of three video ads that will be distributed via social media (Instagram, Facebook and YouTube) and three print ads that will run in Toronto as wild postings and community posters.
