FUSE embraces the power of a kiss to raise awareness for CBCF and PCC
#Kiss2Cure first-ever joint campaign for Valentine’s Day celebrates lives of loved ones impacted by most common cancers
Toronto, ON. FUSE Marketing Group -- the Toronto-based, privately held integrated agency that offers a full range of marketing, digital, content, XM and CRM -- is joining forces with the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation and Prostate Cancer Canada in a first-ever joint charity program, to unveil a national awareness campaign and fundraising event in order to make a difference in the lives of women, men and families affected by the two most common cancers in Canadians.
Timed for Valentine’s Day and entitled, #Kiss2Cure the clever campaign tugs at heartstrings by harnessing the power of the kiss, celebrated and memorialized in arts and culture the world over. Canadians are encouraged to snap a selfie photo of a kiss with a loved one and share the photo and hashtag via social media (Facebook, Twitter or Instagram) to be entered to win one of five Air Canada flights to a romantic destination: a week in either New York City, Chicago, Los Angeles, San Francisco or the grand prize, the dreamy city of lights, Paris.

The Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation and Prostate Cancer Canada are the two leading Canadian organizations committed to research, care, awareness, and early detection of the most common cancers affecting Canadian men and women. By combining their efforts, CBCF and PCC are able to make a larger impact to improve the lives of those affected by the most common cancers in women and men. Donations will help fund innovative research, health education and support programs that aim to reduce mortality and improve the quality of life for the many families affected by breast and prostate cancers.
“This is the first in what we expect will be a long-term partnership to not just fundraise for both organizations but also raise awareness among couples affected by either disease, ” said Lynne Hudson, chief executive at the CBCF. “Like any good partnership, we can be stronger together. That is what we are hoping to demonstrate.”
“This collaborative relationship provides greater scale, creativity and innovation. That includes joint work on research and building awareness for the diseases, including early detection,” said Rocco Rossi, president and CEO of Prostate Cancer Canada. “It’s something we hope other charities will mimic.”
Further, to kick off the campaign internally, FUSE will be home to its first-ever kissing booth. For a mere $5 donation, employees may choose to kiss one of FUSE’s furry friends, with proceeds going to the cause. The best part? FUSE will match whatever funds are raised.
